McLaren Lapeer Region (McLaren Lapeer Region) opened its much-needed Dialysis Service for inpatients in 2005 in response to community demand and has since added a state-of-the-art outpatient facility.
Dialysis is a treatment required by patients who have acute renal failure. At McLaren Lapeer Region, inpatients requiring dialysis no longer need be transferred to another facility to receive treatment. They can receive high quality care in close proximity to their home in a comfortable setting.
The outpatient facility, managed by Reliant Renal Care, includes many special features including heated, massage chairs with 15" flat screen color TVs for the comfort of patients and a professional health care team.
